She graduated from the University of Miami and then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where she earned her degree as a Medical Doctor in 2006. She completed a transitional year internship at Crozer Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania. She then went on to her residency in dermatology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, which she completed in 2010. Dr. Bartus subsequently completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Procedural Dermatology at the Laser and Skin Surgery Center of Indiana in Carmel, Indiana. She is board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is also a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the American College of Phlebology. Dr. Bartus has published many scientific articles and has lectured and made numerous professional presentations throughout the country. She has extensive training in therapeutic cosmetic dermatologic procedures such as facial fillers, lasers, botulinum toxins (Botox®), and tumescent liposuction as well as Mohs Micrographic Surgery and surgical defect reconstruction.
